Type Locality and Naming
Along the Garashkuduk, Sangruntau Mountains, Central Kyzylkum. K.K. Pyatkov et al. (1961) described carbonate deposits; A.K. Bukharin et al. (1984) gave the name and assigned them the status of a suite.

Lithology and Thickness
At the base - a package of sandstones, siltstone (aleurolites), and argillites with olistoliths of limestones containing Serpukhovian-Early Bashkirian fauna. Above, conglomerates, aphinitic limestones, organogenic-detrital, from medium- to massive-bedded. Thickness 150 m.

Contacts are tectonic.

Contacts are tectonic.
Regional extent
Central Kyzylkum, fragmentarily along the northern slope of the Sangruntau Mountains.

Contains Goniatites - Ramosites sp., Prolecanitidae, Baschkirites sp. and others, brachiopods - Pseudoleptaena disteria Gow., Rhipidomella sp., Striatifera striata (Fisch.), Linoproductus sp.; tabulates - Chaetetes">Chaetetes heritschi Sok., C. cf. bosvelly Sok.; foraminifers - Eostaffella sp., Climacammina sp., Endothyra ex gr. spirilliniferae Br. et Pot. and others, rugosans - Gereinophyllum sp. Z.C.P. Rumyantseva (386) discovered a complex of Lower Moscovian foraminifers, similar to those in the Adzhriktin Fm.
